About European Banking Authority (EBA) XBRL Add-in for Excel
To shield reporting companies from the complexity of XBRL tagging, the new Altova European Banking Authority (EBA) XBRL Add-in for Excel makes it easy for financial professionals at filing companies to generate XBRL instances compliant with EBA XBRL Filing Rules, directly in an application where they’re already comfortable working: Excel.
After installing the add-in once, users have access to a feature-rich Excel template with preset rows and columns, as well as a helpful EBA Filing entry-helper pane to guide them while entering a report.
Once a report is complete in Excel, the user simply clicks the Export XBRL button in the EBA ribbon, and the add-in will generate a valid XBRL document for submission. That’s right: no technical XBRL expertise is required to get data into a valid XBRL format according to the EBA XBRL Taxonomy!
The Altova European Banking Authority (EBA) XBRL Add-in for Excel is sold as an annual license and can be downloaded from the Altova web site for a free, 30-day trial.
